Merrill is awesome, and hawke has actual reasons for leaving, as opposed to DA:O where the warden just pisses off one day, I had fun with the game and I haven’t played the dlc’s so I don’t know with that and oblivion will consume your life
You gush about her loads, given the chance, same way I do. :L
I know, but everyone says she kinda just disappears (not entirely sure of the reason) and a lot of people apparently reckon they’re connected. Seriously, it needs resolution. And maybe Morrigan has something to do with it.
Do tell? Otherwise, I’ll just buy the plain pack and possible Felicia Day’s expansion. :)
Oh good, I was worried for a second as I had too much time on my hands anyways.
Mass effect 2 is good (I’ve got it, you can play through at some point if you want) but the main difference in the da2 ending is that if you have a romance they never leave you when you, so that’s nice.
But I heard that Hawke still just ups and leaves? Just like that, no explanation? Also, I’ve heard that the DLCs are kinda crappy, is that true? Then again, these people just seemed to want DA:O to just be repeated again. Admittedly, the game is pretty awesome but is it that bad?
Yeaah, I also need to desperately finish Oblivion. Only spent about four hours or something like that on it. Saaaad.
I DECLARE ANOTHER GAMING SESSION THIS CHRISTMAS IN WHICH YOU EDUCATE ME FURTHER ON GAMING. :D
You SO have a crush on Alistair. You’re such a dork. :L
And I may point out that I pretty much love all the characters in the thing, it is well written. With - brace yourself - FEMALE WRITERS. Seriously, I think there’s either one or two guys and one woman. And I think she has a tad of a crush on him too. But I think they’re absurdly fond of all their characters in the thing and that really shows.
ALSO, ask Tom about his love for Merrill! Seriously, he gushes about her.
Okay, so I started playing Dragon Age Origins. After playing around with a male elven mage, I went for a female warrior human noble (wow, that’s too many descriptors). I married her off to Alistair (after finding out he was based on mix of Xander from Buffy and Mal from Firefly, it made a lot of sense why he was one of my favourite characters). So, that ended happily, I had engineered it to be as such. Now, I’ve started Awakening and there’s some absurdly cute banter between my Warden and her delightful husband (shut up Tom about my crush on Alistair). Game’s okay, can’t complain. Already nearly half way through and I started it a few days ago, so that’s healthy. And then, I read the epilogues ahead of time.
Apparently, no matter what I do, the Warden just ups and leaves one day.
Just like that.
No explanation given.
And the same happens in DA2 to Hawke, apparently.
I don’t give a shit about mystery, I WANT TO BE EXPLICITLY TOLD THAT MY CHARACTER IS INSANELY HAPPY NOW. PREFERABLY RULING THE COUNTRY WITH AN AWESOME HUSBAND. AND A CHILD.
If this isn’t solved in DA3, shit is going down, I swear to Andraste.
Collectively, I think I’ve gamed for at least like 80 hours now with just one of my Wardens (I have three). I AM EMOTIONALLY CONNECTED TO THEM NOW. I DEMAND A SATISFYING ENDING IN WHICH MY CHARACTERS HAVE A DEFINITE ENDING, PREFERABLY HAPPY.
“it’s okay guys, i’m ____ and i don’t find this offensive so it doesn’t matter”
oh thank god we have the chosen representative for an entire demographic here to clear things up for us
thank you, glorious ambassador
you’ve made all the difference
bitchywithasideofinsincere replied to your post: Wait, I wanna be Inara. I presume Inara has a phone though, right?
It’s just a hugging smiley. Don’t read too much into it. :L
NO. I DEMAND TO BE FABULOUS.
I personally am impressed with myself.
Despite our protests, we’re not allowed to just read the entire book out loud to the class.
